Is it possible to link to ISV pages or URLs?

The sitemap allows us to navigate to ISV pages or URLs, however, the quick view menu excludes these links on the menu. Is there a way to include them?

Thanks,

John

It shouldn't do, can you send us an example? You can email if better for you.

Thanks,
Rhett

I have a SubArea in my Sitemap that links to a .htm page that does not display as a link in the quick view menu. Here's an example:

<SubArea Id="phonebookSearch" Url="../../../ISV/phonebooksearch.htm" Icon="../../../ISV/images/contacts list blue.png" Title="Phonebook Search" PassParams="1">
<Privilege Entity="new_organizationalunit" Privilege="Read" />
<Privilege Entity="contact" Privilege="Read" />
</SubArea>

Hi, we van take a look at this and see what is happening. In the meantime could you try giving it a Title using the Titles child element and see if that resolves it for now.

Cheers,
Rhett

Hi Rhett,

Thanks for the quick response. I've tried the following without success:

<SubArea Id="workforcehome" Url="../../../ISV/workforce.htm" Icon="../../../ISV/splash/images/workforce.png" Title="WorkForce" PassParams="1"><Titles><Title LCID="9999" Title="WorkForce" /></Titles></SubArea>

I updated the subarea like this and it worked. My LCID is 1033 so as long as yours is in here it will work too, I’m not sure what 9999 would get you as in your example but I don’t think it exists. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/goglobal/bb964664.aspx

We don’t support Title on the SubArea as it is deprecated as shown here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg328498.aspx but we may add support for future incidents of this where it was probably there due to an upgrade.

Cheers,

Rhett

Rhett,

Thanks so much - that worked for me. This is a great solution for better navigation.
