IE 8 Compatibility


Hi guys,

I recently installed Quick View on our CRM system and I am blwon away by the capabilities. I am eagerly looking forward to the next updates. However, I have noticed a slight issue with users who have IE8 installed on their systems.

We have a number of users who are required to have IE8 on their computers as a result of using a different piece of software that is not yet IE9+ compatible. When these users log into CRM the Quick View sitemap doesnt populate and just shows a blank screen. Are you aware of this issue and if so, do you have any advice on how we could solve it?

Hi Ryan, thanks for the feedback. We had not planned on IE8 support and you are the first to raise this. We will add this to a review list and see if we can estimate the effort to add support for IE8.

Hi Rhett,

I am trying to get our company off IE8, but in the meantime I've just recommended they use an alternative browser.

Patch added for fix of IE8/9 and other lower version of chrome and FF.

Version has been released to support IE8+ and also IPad support has been added.
